The market was easier,

COTTON: The bullish ideas of the favourable Washington news such as the financing system outlined by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation in order to stimulate exports. and to expand domestic .consumption were reflected in higher cotton prices. The export sub- sidy will be aimed to bring exports up to a minimum of 6,000,000 bales. The tight situation in Spot cotton and the prospects of higher mill wages continue to be the chief price substaining influences.

RUBBER; The ability of the world to absorb the increased ton- nage resulting from an increase of 5 per cent. In this quarter's quota is being closely watched.

WHEAT: The drought localities previously mentioned are now becoming a market factor.
