BETWEEN 5.05 AND 10.45 · O'CLOCK YESTERDAY MORNING SIX MEN, found guilty by a common jury at the August Criminal Sessions on a charge of the murder of Li Hung, a rope and matting dealer, on May 21 aff Tung Ku Island, went to the gallows and paid the supreme penalty in Hongkong Prison, Stanley. This, it is believed, was the first collective hanging in prison in the history of the Colony.
