FROM ROZA BROS. Silver prices were unchanged yesterday, the quotations remain- Ing at 23.1/2 for both Ready and Forward. Silver advices reported the market as being quietly steady. A small business was done. American Silver was quoted at 39. 1/4 for Spot.
The London/New York cross-rate was quoted at 402. New York/ London was quoted at 399.7/8.

COTTON; Good trade buying was absorbed by foreign selling and hedging. but the market on the whole remained steady on good reports from the textile trade and on fair mill demand.
RUBBER: Prices sharply declined on liquidation and selling together with freex offertags from the primary markets, There was very little evidence of support and. Buyers were apathetic.
WHEAT: Reports of precipitation, lower Winnipeg advices, sell, ing and liquidation caused a lower trend on this market and prices further declined on lack of export demand and speculative enquiry. The drought conditions in certain important sections of the Belt appear to be ignored,"
