LADY NORTHCOTE'S FINE SUCCESS ON H.K. TURE: DEVONIAN'S FINE WIN Hongkong Jockey Club's 7th.
Extra Race Meeting
Good dividends and encouraging cash sweep returns were the order of the day when, after a period of three months, the Hongkong Jockey Club resumed racing at the Valley on Saturday,
It was the Seventh Extra Race Meeting of the current season. The weather was "good; the track in excellent condition, and a large crowd turned up to see some splendid racing under perfect conditions.
A feature of the day's events was Lady Northcote': First success on the Hongkong turf, when her Devonian ably ridden by Mr. Don Black, won the Vaucluse Handi- cap in very good time, being only 2/5 sec. outside Strath- roy's "track record....
