RECREIO A. SET FOR COLONY RECORD? THIRD DIVISION TITLE ALSO ASSURED
Civil Servants Register THIS SATURDAY'S Government
Third Successive Win
Interporters Thrilling
Win In Shanghai
Recreio, who, before last Saturday were favoured to win the" Third Division Championship, are now practically assured of the title as the Kowloon Cricket Club, their nearest rivals, suffered an unexpected reverse at the hands of the Hongkong Electric R.C. They are now four polits ahead of the KC,C, and both have two matches to play.
A tie in one of these matches will enable Recreio to secure beth the Third Division title and a promotion to the Second next year. In all probability, the title will be decided on Satur day fortnight (Recreto will have no match this Saturday) when the H.K. Electric and Recreio, in eet. The First Division Championship having already ween decided. It now remains to see who will be the runners-up. The K.C.C, at one
stage of the competition looked not only like finishing second in the League but they were expected to prove a great obstacle in Recreto's
path.
1
But now Craigengower sp- pear to have a much better chance of occupying the run- ners-up position at the end of the season than the K.C.C. who have had four defeats in 85 many weeks. Besides, Cixigen- power have been given a walk- over by the
Police who now
find it impossible to complete their remaining fixtures..
COLONY RECORD? Recrelo A look very much like winning all their matches this
season, Their two remaining matches are against the K.C.C. at home and the Civil Servants away.
