A most satisfactory year, financially, socially and in sports, is •. recorded in the annual report of the Hongkong Civil Service Cricket Club for the season 1938-1939.

The report, extracts from which follow, will be submitted to the thirty-afth annual general meeting of members to be held in the Club Pavilion, to-morrow" at 5.30 pm when certain pro- posed additions and Amendments to the rules, as recommended by the outgoing committee, will also be considered,
