LONDON, Sept. 13 (Reuter)-A marked slowing down of the German advance has been noted by all military ob- servers, some of whom express the opinion that the Ger- man lines of communication may be in danger.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the German advance avèr- aged 20 miles a day-a tremendous speed even for the mechanized sections. tiring for the troops and creating a risk of running out of supplies, expecially for tanks and heavy armoured vehleles, which are the most greedy consumers of petrol.
