Mrs. B. J. White, one of Hong- kung's oldest residents, died at the French Hospital, Causeway Bay, at 5:30 am. yesterday at the age of 71 years.

The late Mrs. White had been in ill health for the past ten

years.

She entered the French

Hospital on Tuesday, and passed, away peacefully yesterday morn ing.

Her husband the brother of Mr. Frank White, the well-known share and estate predeceased her some years ago, but she survived by a number of children and grand- children.
