MR. W. W. HIRST KILLED IN MOTOR MISHAP
Big Attendance At Funeral
Of Prominent Resident
The funeral of Mr. W. W. Hirst, manager of the Steam Laundry Company, took place at the Colonial, Cemetery yester day. The Rev. A P. Rose officiated at the graveside.
The late Mr. Hirst was driving his car on Shing, Mun Road about 10 p.m. on Tuesday when the vehicle fell over an embank- ment while he was attempting to turna.

Mr. Hirst, who was 55 years of age. was a keen sportsman, was a Life Member of the Kow- loon Cricket, Club which, he joined in 1918, and was one of the tew who contributed towards the founding of the new clubhouse.
He was formerly in the Royal Engineers, and was a member of the REO.C.A. ·
