Highly entertaining tennis was seen on the Hong- kong Cricket Club ground yesterday when, by win- ning the mixed doubles, and the men's doubles, Thai- land won the three-day Interport with Hongkong, the" scores thus far standing at four matches to nil. The last two singles will be played to-day.

"The mixed doubles was the first match played. It started sensationally enough, the visitors running away with the first nine games! Just when it looked as if the home pair would have to suffer the indignity of a 6-0, 6-0 defeat, they managed to "break their duck." The visitors then took the

next two games to lead 5-1, MEN'S DOUBLES

but had to concede the

seventh and eighth before go-

The player to catch the eye most was undoubtedly Miss Sa iguan, Frail-looking, she displayed a forehand drive in which there was no trace of softness, often imparting a force into these strokes bi which quite a umber of our men players would have been proud.
