Messrs. Jardine, Matheson & Co. have issned. s. statement that their steamers--the Hsin Changwo and Klawo-were completely gutted by the fire caused by incendiary bombs, but that the fames were con- trolled through the splendid assistance of the British Navy. Both ships are still affeat.
