U.S. WOMAN SENTENCED BY

A 30-year-old American woman. Mrs. Ruth Marie Rubens, silas Robinson, was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment for enter- ing Russia with her husband on a false -passport in November, 1937.

As she had already been on re- mand for 18 months in ab Ogu prison, she will be released shortly. Curiously enough, the court did not make any expulsion order against her.

couple came under the notice of the Boylet authorities in Decern- ber, 1937.

The husband disappeared first, and nothing has been heart of him since.

His wife at first stated that he had been taken to hospital and had been put in an "Iron lung"
