Quiet conditions prevailed early in the morning, thus refecting advices received from London and New York. Fair enquiries for "spot" Rubber fälled to inspire speculative interest due to continued political uncertainties, which seem to remain the dominating in- Auence.

Later in the session, however, the market became. steady on trade-buying caused by overnight cable-reports in a substantial in- trease in American Motorcar-production for the week ending June 18. This fact appears to furnibh another indication for gradually. Improving business-prospects in U.S.A.

Prices registered a slight advance of 1/8 cent for all deliveries, the market closing with a quietly steady undertone,
