"The Falls," Sir Robert and Lady Ho Tung's residence on the Peak, was thrown open on Saturday, to the public, whb arrived in large numbers to give their support to 2 the Children's Fair organised in ald of the National Association for the Care of War Orphans.

His Excellency the Governor, Sir Geoffry Northcote, was an inter- ested visitor. Accompanied by his private secretary, Mr. G. Trever- ton, the Governor spent a long time at the fair and, to doubt, thoroughly enjoyed himself as much as the kiddies, who had a field day and gladdened every adult heart by their happy faces. The attractions were well plan- ned and conveniently located around the grounds, and included

nearly all of the regular stand-

bys, such as cocoanut shites and pony rides. as well as others, like the cinema show, and swimming and boating in Sir Robert's private pool.
