YULIN, SHENSI, June 6 (Ceatral) The story of how a Chinese' cavalry-man held up the advance of a Japanese column singla-hand- ed has just been received here.
The cavalry-man is Feng Teng- кна His horse "was killed in a clash with the Japanese at Hsiang- shupa, Sulyuan, on May 27, and he Was granted leave of absence bý the Chinese field headquarters.
While resting in a village, near Thingslintho, he saw a party of Japanese cavalry-men coming" to the village. Taking shelter behind a house, he fired upon the Japan- ese vanguarda and instantly killed three of them.
