'WHEN WERE YOU "BORN?

Astrology is for the first time in motion picture history made the basis of a film production in "When Were You Born?" the Warner Bros. mystery thriller at the Majestic Theatre with Mar- garet Lindsay, Arina May. Wong, Lola Lane and Anthong Averill playing the leading roles.

Although the picture represents a distinct novelty in the matter of story background, the Warner Studio did not, however, depend on this fact alone to make it en- tertaining. Even without the as- trological factor, ""When Were You Born?" would make an exciting. suspense-packed murder mystery picture.

COLUMBIA ENGAGE ARMETTA, HYMER

Henry Armetta and Warren Hymer have been signed by Columbia for the important character roles of Zambroglo and O'Fallon respectively in "The Lady and the Mob (temp, title). Bhoot- ing is due to start soon, with Ben Stoloft directing.

Fay Bainter has already been engaged for the part of Old 'Mrs. Leonard (The Lady).. Ida Lupino and Lee Bowman will be seen as the Juvenile leads.

Some of Mr. Armetta's more recent productions in "which he was featured were "Top of the Town", "Make A Wish", "Manhat- tan Merry-go-Round", "Everybody Bing" and "Speed to Burn".
