The Y. M. CA. 1st XI shared four goals with the Kumaon Rifles in a hockey game played at King's Park on Saturday.. Capt. Loch netted both goals for the Kumaons, the scorers for the " team being Dawson and Dunne.
Tae R. K. BR. A defeated Y. M. C. A. 2nd XI in a game preceding the lat i encounter on the same ground. The Artillerymen won by two clear goals, scored by Gnr. Murad Khan and L/NK. Nur Mohd.
LADIES' LEAGUE ' Hongkong Ladies Second XI moved up to within two points of Recreto "A" in the Brown Cup Hockey League when they defeated the Diocesan Giris' School by six goals to two in a game played on the school ground on Saturday..
The scorers for Hongkong Ladies were "Miss J. Greig (2), Mrs. B. Goldman, Miss N. Quinn, and Miss V. Blackburn, Miss V. Churn, and Miss B. Longbottom scored for the School. The School were somewhat handicapped by an injury to the hand suffered by Miss Ada Cbang in the early stage of the game.
PADGHAM WINS SILVER KINGS LONDON, April 22 (Reuter)- Alfred Padgham won the "Silver King Golf tournament at Moor Park to-day, Burton retiring at 33, when Padgham was leading by nine strokes.
Padgham led by seven strokes at the end of the morning round, and the respective scores were therefore 74 and 81.
