K.O.S.B. CELEBRATIONS The King's Own Scottish Borders will celebrate their 250th anniversary this year. There will be eclebrations in Edinburgh in the last week of July, when it is hoped the Duchess of Gloucester (Colonel-in-Chief" of the regiment) will take the salute of the 4th and 5th Battalions (T.A), a de- tachment of the 1st Battalion from Portsmouth, and a detachment of old Borders, in Princes Street.
The de tachment
of the 1st Battalion will make a 16-day march through the Borders.
A fund 13 being raised to finance the celebrations, and anyone who wishes to contribute should send their donations to O.C. Depot (An- niversary Fund), KOSB. Berwick-ca- Tweea.
