The market opened 1/8 of a cent lower for all deliveries as compared with Friday's closing quotations.
Early in the morning the market was nominal and uncertain, being entirely dominated by the unsettled European political "situs- tion. Fair enquiries for "actuals" by consuming countries 'failed so stimulate trade and speculative buying interest in futures.***
Later in the session, however, the low level of prices attracted speculative buying which resulted m a gradual advance of 1/4 cent for all deliveries, the market clos ing with a fairly steady undertone."
