Owing to very poor conditions underfoot, and in a light that would in all probability not have lasted more than an hour, the Tsu! Brothers, Wai-pul and. Yun-pui, entered the third round of the Colony Open doubles tennis championship on the Stand Court at the Hongkong Cricket Club yesterday when they beat Omar Rumjahn and S. A. Hussain by straight sets in a one-sided match that lasted just over half an hour. The scores of 6-3, 6-2 were no more than a fair indication of the respective merits of the two pairs; as a matter of fact the game was not even as close. as that. In terms of speed both to the ball and the power with which they hit it, the Champions were incalculably faster,"

speedy, and decisive in all they did, even if it was hitting the ball outside. They both dis- - played about the same stan- dard, which was good enough to have beaten all but one or two pairs here.
