Show With 100 Stars

The biggest assembly of theatrical talent ever seeri' on one stage will appear before the King and Queen at the London Coliseum on March 27,

Over 100 stars will take part in a special revival of Louis N. Parker's historical drama, "Drake," which is to be given in aid of King George's Pension Fund for Actors. first This spectacular play was produced by Sir Herbert Tree at His Majesty's Theatre in 1912

Almost every actor and actress of note has agreed to play some kind of role, big or small. without payment, and the final scene, which represents the outside of the old St. Paul's Cathedral, will completely. All the huge Coliseum stage with star performers.

The first part of the performance will include a novel form of prologue devised by Leslie Henson; a production of "The Little Father. of the Wilderness," by Lloyd Osbourne and Austin Strong, also with an all-star cast; a turn by Jack Hulbert and Cicely Court- neldge; and what is describeri as "the .biggest dance ensemble ever staged."

RADIO OR FILM STAR?

Hollywood has won the first round of its fight with the radio.

Sooner than allow Tyrone Power, Its most popular male star, to con- tinue his £1,000-a-week broadcasts the 20th Century-Fox Company has compensated the company which was sponsoring the broadcasts.

Hollywood argues that people stop at home to listen to stars in- stead of going to the films to see them,
