THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY
At the usual public meeting of the Manuk Lodge of the Theoso- phdeal Society held last Thunday. Prof, Baron Ernest de Richenau. P.H.D., MD. Des L, delivered a most stimulating address on the subject "I Am Not Quite So Sure, in which he criticized certain modern scientific theories which had a tendency to become doganas. The speaker claimed that in fact, a properly developed intuition was more reliable than jogical groot and the theories formulated by a onsideration of a number of em- pirical facts, and that this insis tance of logical proof by the con- crete mind often shirt out other forms of experience.
