The market operied with prices unchanged for all deliveries as compared with Saturday's closing quotations.

After a dull and quiet opening the market ruled featureless early in the morning. There was only a moderate demand for "spot" Rubber by consuming centres, whilst traders and speculators prefer- red to maintain side-line positions due to the uncertainties with re- gard to the February consumption figures to be announced shortly. Also the European political situation exercised a restraining fluence on the market.

Later in the session prices declined by 1/8 cent for all deliveries due to some speculative selling which mainly consisted of profit-tak- ing.

Closing tone was quiet.
