IN CHINA

CHUNGKING, Mar. 11 (Central)-Dr. R.E, Brown, for 21 years Supersatendent of the General Hospital of the Methodist Epis- Copal Mission at Wuhu, in Anhwei Province, has been appointed director to correlate and co-ordinate all the mission hospitals in Chlaa with the Chinese Army Medical Corps, the National Health - Administration and the Chinese Red Cross Society in medical re-

NEED FOR AMBULANCES Thus, the need arses for a vast fleet of ambulances and trucks to rush men and medical supplles back and forth between the base hospitals in the rear and the military hospitals close to the firing lines. This need will be met when the big fleet of trucks bought by various Christian organisations partici- pating in the medical relief work in China are available. A number of these trucks are be- ing sent to Hunan by way of French Indo-China.
