The market opened with prices unchanged for all deliveries an compared with Saturday's closing quotations.
Early in the morning the markét displayed a dull and quiet un- dertone with a fair demand for "actuals" being in eviderice. Dealers 17/6 and speculators, however, were somewhat healtant to enter into 38.30 fresh commitments, preferring to Awast further developments. 13
Subsequently the market became steady on good buying interest for futures, prices advancing by 1/8 cent for all forward deliveries, but this advance was lost towards the close of the session.
