Britain's Motor Industry

Mechanically-propelled vehicles have now topped the 3,000,000 mark in Great Britain for the first time.

The Ministry of Transport an- nounced thetr antiral return showing that Last September the number was 3,093;884, compared with 2,338,485 at the same time in 1937.

The Increase is a clear indication of the health and resilience of the motor industry.

But there is another side to the picture.
