LADIES DOUBLES CHAMPIONS
Unpaced Time Trials Held
on
Several members of the longkong Cycling Club and other un- altached riders participated in unpaced time trials held Wednesday and Thursday last, and some excellent times were re- turned.
Robert Yuen, in the course of a second attempt on January 13, put up a new record for Chinese cyclists over 5 miles, in Class "A." his time of 14 mins 30 secs, giving an average of 20.689 m.p.h.. and beating the previous record held by S. C. Wong by 26 secs., be- ing also 20 secs. faster than Kam Yu-wah's unofficial record of the previous week. Yuen used a fixed gear of 78" Instead of his usual 69" free.
