Mr. R.A.D. Forrest's Address To Peace Pledge Union

THE IMPORTANCE OF SACRIFICE in the maidienance of peace was stressed by Mr. R. A. D. Forrest. First Magistrate, Hongkong, in a very interesting and instructive talk to the Hongkong Group of the Peace Pledge Union in the Challenré Book Room yesterday" evening. During the meeting, which was presided over by Mr. J. Russell, re- ports were read by the Hon. Secretary and the Hon. Treasurer.

In the course of his talk Mr. Forrest said nations, nationalities and ecuntries were abstracts, convenient abstracts. He believed there were four thousand million people in the world, and the time had not yet come when they could be ruled from one centre.
