The report; first published in the "Daily Press." that Mr. Warig Ching-wel, Chairman of the Central Executive Counchi and Deputy General Executivé of the Kuomintang, will soon arrive in Hongkong, was conarmed yesterday with the arrival here of Mr. Chen Kung-po, former Minister of Industries in the Chinese Government, from Hanoi on board an Air France plane.

Interviewed at Kai Tak, Mr. Chen disclosed that Mr. Wang was on his way to the Colony by steamer and that the main pur- pose of his own visit was to confer with him.

Regarding rumours of disagreement between the General- issimo and Mr. Wang, Mr. Chen refused to comment beyond saying that, he had not seen Mr. Wang since December 2 and was therefore not-in'a position to say what had happened.

"I understand Mr. Wang is proceeding from Hongkong to Europe on a mission for the Government," stated Mr. Chen. "I" would not take too much notice of rumours that may be float- ing about."
