Throughout the session the market displayed a steady undertone. Good enquiries 'for "spot" Rubber influenced fair buying interest in futures by traders, whilst a more hesitant attitude was observed by speculators who prefer to await further developments with regard to Sterling before entering into, fresh commitments on any larger scale. Subsquently prices registered a slight advance of 1/8 cent for all deliveries on further trade-buying, the market closing with a steady undertone.

An unoticial estimate places Malayan Rubber Exports for Decem- ber at 31,000 tons as against 39,340 tons actually shipped during November.
