A fine century by A. R. H. Esmall, Craigengower Cricket Club opening batsman, who carried his bat while no other member of his side could make 20 runs, was the main feature of Saturday's cricket. Esmail-made his 101 not out out of 173, in reply to a score of 194 for mine declared which Civil Service had put up.

Club de Recreto had the better of their drawn match against the Cricket Club, Eddie Gosano again getting going with both bat and ball. In the Indians-Kowloon match bowlers predominated, and A. Minu bowled unchanged, except for an over to swap ends. to take seven wickets for 43 runs in 21 overs.
