"HERE" WERE TWO Rugby foot- ball matches on the Navy ground at Causeway Bay yesterday a fairly large crowd turning out to watch the games.

The first WIL between H.M.S. Medway and Submarines against the R.AO.C. The Ordnance Corps played better together as a team and it was due to this that they were able to win by two tries (six polnist to one three points).

It is understood that the Hon. Becretary of the Hongkong Ladles Hockey Association has received a letter from the Bhanghal Ladies'! Hockey Association inviting the Colony to make the trip North during the Easter Holidays.

A meeting of Ladies Hockey clubs has been convened for De- cember 15, at the Gloucester Building, for the purpose of dis- cussing the invitation.

It is stated that Hongkong has been invited with the proviso that all travelling expenses and ex- penses in Shanghai must be paid by the visiting team."
