During the next week there will be no oor. show entertainment, and patrons will have time to prepare for the very welcome premiere of that famous enter- tainer Queenie and her troupe on Saturday evening. December 3.
In 1935, Queenie appeared at the, opening of the dining room on the top floor of the Gloucester Hotel. Everyone enjoyed her musical arrangements, dancing. songs and amusing repartee and once again you all will have the pleasure of being entertained by this outstanding artiste..
Reservations will be limited for Queenie's debut and Mr. Chessex has requestedy that diners be in- formed in order to secure a table at the opening.

Popular Chinese Couple
A wedding of great interest in Chinese circles in the Colony took place yesterday mornlüg at the Dah Kwong Restaurant. Kowloon, when Miss Lam Lan- fong was married to Mr. Lau Chuck-fong.
The bride. a former student of St. Mary's School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lam Gee-ting, of Hongkong. She was attended by Miss Annie Yu and Miss Rose Lee who were attired in beautiful Chinese gowns, which correspond- ed to the white satin robe worn by Miss Lam.
Mr. Lau Chuck-fong is from Saigon, his father, being ↓ well- known rice merchant in that city. The groomsmen were Mr. Chen Kwok-in and Mr. Harry Yip.
The young couple will travel to Manila for their honeymoon, after which Mr. Lau w return to his duties as Assistant Manager of the Majestic Theatre, Kowloon.
