The Imports and Exports Department (Statistical Branch) reports that the combined values of imports and exports of merchandise (excluding treasure) as declared during the month of October, 1938 totalled $80.8 millions (£5.0 millions) as compared with $95,1 millions (5.9 millions) in October, 1937.
