A very quiet wedding, which was witnessed only by intimate friends, was that of Mr. R. Connor and Miss B Andrew, which took place at St. John's Cathedral yesterday afternoon. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. E. R. Andrew of Sumolk, England, and arrived in the Colony only on Wednesday by the 3.8. Canton Mr. Connor, the son of the Rev and Mrs. R, W. L Connor of Sut- folk, is connected with the Asiatic Petroleum Company, Ltd.

After the church ceremony, a re- ception was held in the Jacobean Room of the Hongkong Hotel at which the health of the newly- married couple was toasted.

After their honeymoon, which is being spent at Repulse Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Connor will proceed to Manila, to which city Mr. Connor has been transferred.
