29-7/8 30-1/8 29-1/2 29-3/4, off 3/8 The market opened 1/4.of a cent lower for all deliveries as com- pared with Monday's closing quotations.

Early in the morning the market ruled quiet and dull in sympathy with easier advices received from New York. "Although demand for "spot" Rubber was fair, dealers and speculators displayed very little interest to operate, preferring to adopt a waiting attitude.

Later in the session the market encountered easiness on specula- tive liquidation which chiefly consisted of profit-taking and hedge " selling, causing a price-decline of 1/4 cent for all deliveries.

During the last trading hour, however, the market recovered this set-back, closing with a very quiet undertone.
