The market opened 1/4 of a cent lower for all deliveries as com- pared with Tuesday's closing quotations.

During the morning session the market ruled dull and featureless. Demand for "actuals" was moderate" whilst dealers and speculators displayed no interest to operate,

In the afternoon the market became easier on some liquidation, which, coming on a narrow market, caused a gradual price-decline of 1/4 cent for all deliveries.

Closing tone was slightly easier.
