General Syrovy, whose Cabinet resigned yesterday after func- tloning for only a fortnight following the dissolution of Dr. Milan Hlodza's government, again heads the new Cabinet" of national con- centration. formed late last night.

The most important change is the appointment Chvalkovsky, hitherto Czech Minister in Rome, as Föreign Minister

дем Foreign Minister in succession to Dr. Krofta. The leader of the Agrarian' Group; and formerly held the post of "Minis-

Significance is attached to the creation of two new Ministries. Dr. Sokol hitherto general secre- tary of the Slovak People's Party, enters the Cabinet as Minister for Slovakia, while Dr. Parkany is the first to hold the post of Minister fer Carpathian Russia,

It is argued here that following the cession of Olsa territory to Poland and reassuring pronounce- ments made in Warsaw, all causes of friction between the two coun- tries have been removed-Trans-
