Appreciation of the League of Nations'-adoption of Article 18 of Its Covenant and the hope that member states will individually ap- ply sanctions against Japan and extend mare substantial all to China were expressed by Dr. H, H. Dr. Kung declared that the present resolution of the League surpasses in significance all its previous efforts to aid China since the Mukden Incident in September, 1931.
