Mr. K. S. Mortison was elected' Vice-Chieftain. Messrs. E M. Bry- den and D. S. Robb, Hon. Trea surer and Secretary. The following were elected to the Committee:- Mesars. B. Wylie, H. R. Forsyth, D. J. Glimore, J. A, D, Morrison, J. F. MacGregor, H., H. Scott, Dr. J. W. Anderson and Professor R. K M. Simpson.

The usual discussion on the date for holding St. Andrew's Ball took place. Mr. Kay pointed out that St. Andrew's Day (November 301 fell on a Wednesday this year. but they had to reckon with the usual "Friday-ites." The last Friday in November would be the 25th but that was definitely unsuitable in view of the Combined Manoeuvres, The next was December 2
