The Czech Note continues:

"It de facto was an ultimatum of the sort usually presented to a vanquished nation and was not a proposition to a sovereign State which had

shown the greatest readiness to make sacrifices for the appensement of Europe. Not the smallest case of such readiness for sacrifices has yet been manifested by Herr Hitler's: GovernoDEILE ----

BROADCASTS TO NATION

London, Sept. 27, 1: It is announced that the Prime Minister, Mr. Chamber- Jain, will broadcast a speech on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. The announcement has caused some surprise since it was hitherto assumed that he would not speak in public until the sitting of the House of Commons on Wednesday.

It is generally expected that the broadcast, which will be relayed by all radio stations in the British Empire and in the United States, will deal with the international crisis,

Mr. Chamberlain will speak from his study in. his official re- sidence in Downing Street.- Transocean.
