Anniversary Of Mukden Incident Observed By The Chinese Nation
Hankow, September 19.. Chinese throughout the country yesterday observed the seventh anniversary of the Mukden Incident, which led to the Japanese oc- cupation of Manchuria. In Hankow, Changking, Shanghai, Canton, Foochow Slan, Ichang, Kweiyang and other large cities, memorial meetings were held by the populace.

The raiders, flying front a base of Chungshan, reached the city about 9.30 am.. and concentrated their attack on the Kwangsi University. More than 20 bombs were "released. the class rooms and dormitories of the institution and many civilian houses in the vicinity being damaged.
