The market opened with prices unchanged for all deliveries as compared with ́ Baturday's closing rates.
After the opening the market ruled quiet with a steady under- tone. Demand from London and New York for "spot” Rubber, was, “ very fair. However, dealers and speculators adopted side-line post- tions preferring to await further developments in view of Rubber Ex- changes in London and New York having been closed on Baturday last.
Later in the session the market turned very steady due to fur- ther brisk enquiry for actual Rubber resulting in a price-advance of 3/8 cent for "spot" and 1/4 cent for forward deliveries.
After some business having been transacted at the higher price- level the market closed with a steady undertone.
