Noted Collection To Be Sold

The famous stamp collection of the late Mr T. W. Hall is to be sold. The collection, which is arranged in over 500 volumes. has a catalogue value estimated at £500,000.

Mr Hall, who was a well-known Smithfield solicitor, occupied a unique position in British philately as a collector and, as a judge, and for a number of years he was pre- sident of the Royal Philatelic 80- ciety.

The disposal of the collection, the most important that has be. come available for some years, is being entrusted to two well-known London experts.
