INCREASE OF BETIRED PAY Improvements in the rates of retired pay for officers holding permanent
the commissions in equipment and accountant bran ches are introduced by an Air Ministry Order dated July 28 and will apply to all officer's placed or the retired list after this date.
The maximum rates will be i creased to £678 a year for group captains, £527 for wing comman ders. and £395 for squadron leaders. To enable officers to quali ty for these increased maxima the present retired pay scale in respect of officers retiring at age 64 and above will be amended as fol- lows!
