BOUT A BATTALION OF SOVIET TROOPS ASSISTED BY NINE TANKS ATTACKED JAPANESE FORCES AT CHANG- KUFENG this morning states a communique by the Korean Army Headquarters. Three of the tanks were badly damaged and

THE COMMUNIQUE ADDS THAT MORE THAN TEN SOVIET PLANES, flying in formation, crossed the Manchukuo border at 7.30 this morning and bombed Changkufeng and Klushagang.
