European Sergeant And Chinese Constables. Charged In Kowloon

EVIDENCE OF MASTER AND FOKI

Committal proceedings against five members of the Hong Kong- Police Force, charged with attempted extortion of $30 from two pro-* prietors of mah jong schools were continued at the Kowloon Court yesterday before Mr. Macfadyen.

The ave man charged are Charles Hossack Teller, Leung Chi. Mak Kong-in, Sun Kui and Pun. King-cheang.

KWANGTUNG RAILWAYS AGAIN BOMBED BY JAPANESE

Canton, July 20. The Canton-Kowloon and Canton-Hankow Rail- ways were again the targets of Japanese airmen dur- ing their routine bombings this morning.

Yuentam and Tangfa, on the Canton Jankow line, were raided by six Japanese planes. One empty freight car in Trungia, was destroyed. Yingtak, and Pakong, on the same line, were also bombed,

Meanwhile, Chemgmurton and Wanglik, on the Canton-Kowloon Railway, were bombed by three other Japanese machines. No serious damage was caused."
