Hankow, July 18. Squadrons of Chinese bombers took off early this morning in the direction of Japanese positions down-river and bombed Japanese war. ship concentrations below Kiuklang, according to official Chinese re- ports.

A Chinese report, revealed today that on July 8 a squa- dron of Chinese bombers ralded Nanking and juflicted neavy casualties to the Japan- ese garrison. The aerodrome and certain defence works were damaged.
