JAPANESE PLANES BOMB RAILWAYS

Canton, July 7.

The Canton-Hankow and Canton-Bamshuf 'Rall- ways were raided by Japanese planes this morning. Points bombed on the first line included Tingtak, Kuntien, Laltung. Pakong and Yuentam.

One of the bombera is reported to have been brought down by Chinese anti-aircraft batteries near Tingtak. The wreckage of the 11-fated machine has been located, but the pilots who descended by their parachutes have escaped Chinese military authorl- ties are combing the countryside for them.
