Swalow, June 22.

Since o'clock this moraing Swatow has been in a state of apprehension as the air raid alarm has been on throughout the day while Japanese planes reconnoltred continuously over Swatow, drop- ping bombs on three occasions.

At 4 o'clock four seaplanes dropped eight bombs, demolishing the power station as the result of which the city is at present with- out lights. The railway station, track and fort wera hii but casual-- ties were slight.
